Earn Your NGBS Green +WELLNESS Certification

NGBS Green+ certification provides a streamlined, supplementary, third-party recognition for NGBS Green Certified homes based on their exceptional performance in one (or more) of six categories of green practices, including WELLNESS. The NGBS Green +WELLNESS certification recognizes homes and buildings that are higher performing across multiple areas that influence human health: air, movement, moisture management, comfort (humidity control), nourishment, light, sound, materials, access to nature. 

Homes that earn the NGBS Green +WELLNESS certification incorporate a set of common universal design features.

Compliance Criteria

Required to earn the +WELLNESS certification:

• Meet all 11 applicable mandatory practices for wellness.
• Achieve at least 29 optional practices (green sections).
