Superior Walls offers a range of precast concrete wall products. Panels are custom made with the highest quality materials. High-strength, steel and fiber reinforced 5,000+ psi concrete is carefully mixed and formed to a builder’s specifications.

601.2.2 Higher grade or higher strength of the same materials than commonly speciifed are used and compoonent sizes are reduced. 3 To be awarded points, wall system is used for at least 85% of foundation walls or above grade exterior walls.

Manufacturer's Comments: The Superior Walls panel systems are building code compliant systems that optimize material use. Superior Walls panels have been evaluated by ICC-ES for the 2006, 2009, 2012, 2015 and 2018 IRC and IBC.

Precut, preassembled, panelized, or precast assemblies are used for the following:

602.1.1.1 A capillary break is provided between the footing and the foundation wall. 3 Walls must be set on a minimum 4 inch thick gravel bed with appropriate foundation drainage.

Manufacturer's Comments: A capillary break at the footing is required to prevent moisture migration into a foundation wall from the soil. A capillary break is created because Superior Walls insulated precast wall panels are damp-proof and set directly on a crushed stone footing.
608.1 Products containing fewer materiasl are used to achieve the same end use requirements. 3 To be awarded points, wall system is used for at least 85% of foundation walls or above grade exterior walls.

Manufacturer's Comments: Superior Walls precast foundation panels use up to 70% less concrete than similarly sized poured-in-place (PIP) concrete foundation walls.
