601.7 Prefinished building materials or assemblies listed below have no additonal site-applied finishing material are installed. 1,2,5 For 5 points, 90% or more of the installed exterior trim must be this product. For 2 points, 50-90% of the installed exterior trim must be this product. For 1 point, at least 35% of the installed exterior trim must be this product.

Manufacturer's Comments: Versatex is a closed cell foamed PVC product that is impervious to moisture, mold, mildew and insect resistant. It is ideal for use in regions affected by salt and high humidity. Products include sheet, corner boards, mouldings, beaded profiles.
602.1.6 Termite-resistant materials are used in portions of the building. 2-6 To earn two points, product is used in conjunction with other termite-resistant materials for the first 2 feet of all the foundation, floor, and structural wall, wall cladding, and exterior deck components in zones with slight to moderate termite infestation. Four points are awarded when used in conjunction with other termite-resistant materials for the first 3 feet in moderate to heavy termite zones, and six points are awarded for use with other termite-resistant materials for all of the foundation, floor, and structural wall, wall cladding, and exterior deck components in areas of very heavy termites.

Manufacturer's Comments: Versatex is strong, durable, lightweight and easy to install. Its resistance to moisture and insects allows it to be installed at our below grade. It is an ideal building product for use as a skirt/starter board with fiber cement, wood composite.
