Product Information:

Aeroseal Envelope’s air sealing solution, AeroBarrier, provides Guaranteed Air Sealing Made Easy for building envelopes. Our automated technology simplifies envelope air sealing, is more effective than manual methods, lower cost, verified with a continuous blower door test, and guarantees that you will achieve your air tightness goal. AeroBarrier pressurizes the building interior to seal air leaks from the inside, and has proven success in multifamily, single family, and commercial buildings.

Manufacturer's Comments: AeroBarrier uses substantially less materials to achieve the same result when compared to the material usage of manual air sealing and utilization of caulks, foams, etc.
701.4.3.1 The building thermal envelop is durably sealed to limit infiltration. Mandatory Product must be installed per manufacturer's instructions. In addition, the other elements of the practice must be appropriately sealed.

703.2.4 The maximum building envelope leakage rate is in accordance with Table 703.2.4 and whole building ventilation is provided in accordance with section 902.2.1. 4-15 To earn points for this practice, building must be verified with a blower door test.
