Home Innovation supports recognition of the NGBS to be recognized in state, regional, or local programs, policies, or legislation – either for incentives and rebates. We work to ensure the NGBS is given fair and equal consideration based on its merit, rigor, flexibility, and benefits for builders, consumers, and local communities.
Below are resources NGBS advocates can use to "make the case" for the NGBS being deemed equivalent or better than other rating systems, and/or be specified as a compliance path for residential occupancy buildings in codes and standards.
